Main Menu

The main menu is the gateway to your world of music. Browse your music services, favorites, internet radio, personal music library and playlists. You can also find setting to easily add new Sonos components.

Now Playing

Your starting place is the Now Playing screen that features album art, basic controls and easy access to all of your music.

Room Control

Hip hop for the kitchen, soul for the living room and classic rock for the bedroom – now you can set the right mood in any room. Mix it up with different songs in different rooms or choose “group all” to hear the same beat throughout your home. You can also crank up the volume for each room individually or together.

For a deeper dive on the music you’re listening to, tap the “Info View” feature to get artist bios, album reviews and concert listings. See related artist suggestions to discover a new band for your queue.

Wireless Range

Sonos operates on WiFi, which means the Sonos system covers the entire range of your WiFi network. As long as your WiFi reaches all the rooms where you want to put a Sonos wireless speaker, you won’t have any issues with range. Music keeps playing — without skips, delays or drops — regardless of where your phone is. If you’ve got Bluetooth speakers and are streaming music from your mobile phone, the strength of the wireless signal can be impacted by the location of your phone relative to the speakers. Music keeps playing when the phone rings

With Sonos smart speakers, all you hear is the music. Bluetooth speakers are prone to interruption. If you get a call, text, or email notification, your song may be interrupted.
